Dear Members Hi all, sorry for the delay between President’s updates, but suddenly here we are on the eve of the 2009 National Capital Horse Show our first as the new Committee. I sincerely hope we are able to do as good a job as Marie has in the past. The time has flown and we have had a productive couple of months. We held a BBQ and Trail Ride at Kaburra, Doughboy via Braidwood, the home of Stan and Audrey Cleary. They are Chrissy Millar our Secretary’s parents. They were wonderful hosts and a group of 12 riders thoroughly enjoyed the day. We plan to do this again. We followed this activity up with the ‘Spring Fling’, which was a 2 day Show held at the beautiful and functional Bungendore Showgrounds. The weather was kind and we had a great turn up. We even had a group of friends travel from Jindabyne for the weekend. Click to read more........
