OUTCOMES OF THE
ARABS Inc. held its AGM on Friday 13 November 2015.
All Committee positions were declared vacant but there were no members present prepared to nominate for any of the vacant positions.
Until a new Committee is elected the existing Committee will stay on in caretaker mode.
A General Meeting will be held on Friday 22 January 2016 (venue and time TBA) to elect a new committee.
Prior to 15 January 2016 expressions of interest should be provided to the Caretaker Committee via email (via the ARABS Inc. website or FB page) or in writing, proposing nomination of a team of candidates to fill the vacant positions.
In the event that no proposed nominations are received the General Meeting will be cancelled and the Caretaker Committee will meet to dissolve the club and donate monetary assets to equine research (as dictated by the constitution).
The vacant positions include: President, two Vice Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Secretary and not more than 7 ordinary committee members.
Just a reminder that to vote at the General Meeting, or be nominated as a Committee Member, you must be a current member of Arabs Inc. A completed membership application form and payment can be presented on the evening of the General Meeting.

National Capital Horse Show 2015:
The Arabs Inc. Committee would like to thank the judges, stewards, sponsors and competitors for their individual contribution towards collectively making our National Capital Horse Show a huge success. Congratulations to all the winners. Photographs of the event, taken by the extremely talented Samantha Taylor, can be viewed in the “Arabians” folder on her web site .
Heidi Stevens from Wombat in New South Wales was the winner of the beautiful painting Arabs Inc. raffled in conjunction with this year’s National Capital Horse Show. The painting, a copy of which was on the cover of our catalogue and is shown below, was donated by the very talented artist and photographer Samantha Pearce. Congratulations Heidi and a huge thank you to Samantha for her ongoing support and generosity.
